The Town of Waldoboro is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of part-time transfer station attendant. This position is scheduled for 18 hours per week, 3 days per week, including weekends. This position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the transfer station operation, the construction and demolition debris landfill operation and the recycling program. Applicants must have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent, be in good physical condition and be able to perform routine mechanical, maintenance and manual tasks. The Town of Waldoboro is currently recruiting Fire Fighters and those who would like to become Fire Fighters.
Waldoboro Firemen are responsible for maintenance of the fire station, equipment, and apparatus. They respond to emergencies and administer basic life support when necessary. The ideal candidate would want to take an active role in training, fire prevention and public education. Monthly training is provided.
