Article 2. Should any municipal budget question fail to pass, shall the Town authorize the Selectmen to expend an amount not to exceed 6/12 of the previous year's appropriation?

Shall the Town vote to raise and appropriate $176,576 for the Finance and Customer Service Department and $581,585 for the Police Department, reduce the amount raised and appropriated at the June 11, 2013 town meeting for the Public Works Department by $35,000 to $669,198, appropriate $8,290 from Undesignated Fund Balance to reduce the 2014 tax rate, and reduce the sum approved at the June 11, 2013 town meeting of Intergovernmental Revenues to be applied to reduce the 2014 tax rate by $106,000, to $234,463 to accommodate a $106,000 reduction in State Revenue Sharing?

Article 5. Shall the Town vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to execute the appropriate documents to the Lincoln County Fish and Game Association that releases, without consideration, conditions regarding alterations and return conveyance requirements, as are contained in the April 17, 1948 deed from the Town that conveyed the 196 Cross Street to the Association?

The specific clause in the April 17, 1948 deed from which relief is sought is as follows:

“No major alterations shall be made in the building on said premises, and in the event that the Inhabitants of the Town of Waldoboro shall, at any future time, need the premises herein conveyed for school purposes, the said premises shall be, upon demand and the payment of the purchase price plus any sums expended by the Grantees for repairs and minor improvements, conveyed back to said Inhabitants of the Town of Waldoboro”
