  • Article 2: Shall an ordinance entitled “An Ordinance Amending the Town of Waldoboro Land Use Ordinance” be enacted? A copy of the proposed ordinance is on file at the Office of the Town Clerk for public inspection.

  • Article 3: Shall an ordinance entitled “An Ordinance Amending the Town of Waldoboro Shellfish Conservation Ordinance” be enacted? A copy of the proposed ordinance is on file at the Office of the Town Clerk for public inspection.

  • Article 4: Shall the Town of Waldoboro vote to approve a Community Development Block Grant application for a Community Planning Grant in the amount of $10,000.00 and to submit same to the Department of Economic and Community Development and if said program is approved, to authorize the municipal officers to accept said grant funds, to make such assurances, assume such responsibilities, and exercise such authority as necessary and reasonable to implement such programs. Furthermore, the Town of Waldoboro is cognizant of the requirement that should the intended National Objective of the CDBG program not be met all CDBG funds must be repaid to the State of Maine CDBG program.

  • Article 5: Shall the Town vote to exceed the property tax levy limit of $49,828 established for the Town of Waldoboro by State law do to the fact that the municipal Budget approved by Town Meeting on June 12, 2007 will result in a tax commitment that is greater than that property tax levy limit and to appropriate the $74,985.00 from Undesignated Fund Balance? Article submitted by petition for the articles listed below that were passed at the June 12, 2007 annual Town Meeting. Fire Department call out pay $15,285.00 Healthy Kids $ 1,200.00 Jefferson Street Bank Stabilization Grant Match $57,200.00 TOTAL: $73,685.00
