The Town Clerk's office records all certificates of births, marriages, and deaths if the event occurs within the Town of Waldoboro and / or if the person or persons were residents of Waldoboro at the time of the event. Certified copies of the records are available for purchase. The State of Maine sets the fees of $15.00 for the first copy and $6.00 for each additional copy of the same record ordered at the same time. You can download the correct vital records request form from above and mail it or bring it to the Town Office - either way you MUST provide proof of identity and eligibility as described on the vital record request form.
Non-certified copies - records over 100 years old from the date of the event may be purchased by anyone.
**Records prior to the late 1800's are not complete due to a fire that destroyed all the Town's vital records.
