Cheering Registration Form

The Waldoboro Recreation Department is in need of volunteer coaches for the Youth Cheering Program. The program is divided into two divisions: Sideline (K-6th grade) Competition (4th-6th grade only).

Practices are typically held several times a week and are scheduled to begin around Thanksgiving. The Sideline program learns basic cheering fundamentals and performs at pee-wee basketball games. Participants in the Competition program learn choreographed dance routines, stunts, cheers and perform at Maine Youth Cheering events. Sideline continues through the end of January and Competition squad runs through March.

For more information, please contact Kyle at the Recreation Department at 832-5369 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Registration information for participants will be released when coaches are assigned.
