Pink Flamingos Flock to Waldoboro Homes

The Waldoboro Fire Department is hosting a fundraiser where, for $20, they will ‘flock’ a property of your choice.

Anyone can have a friend or neighbor ‘flocked’ for the $20 donation and the Fire Department will move in their 3 dozen pink flamingos to the unsuspecting lawn, along with an explanatory sign and a note on the door. They stay there for couple days, then move on to the next house. These poor flamingos have been

flying non-stop since the promotion started!

For more information or to order a flocking, call the town office at 832-5369, or the fire department at 832-2161, or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .  The proceeds are to benefit the festivities surrounding the Fire Department's 175th anniversary celebration scheduled for 2013.
