This Committee was originally charged with the creation of a new Ordinance and researching the pay-per-bag system for the Transfer Station. On 11/22/2011, the Board of Selectmen expanded the Committee's mandates to include examining and perhaps putting forth recommendations regarding the physical layout of the transfer station, researching the desirability of procuring a scale, researching the desirability/feasibility of continuing to landfill certain materials and methods to improve recycling rates, and educating itself regarding the future relationship with PERC.
The Waldoboro Board of Selectmen have approved the budget to be approved by the voters at the June 12, 2012 referendum Town Meeting. CLICK HERE to view it.
