The Board of Selectmen, at it's meeting of January 24th, adopted the FY 2013 budget calendar. Some key dates are as follows:
March 13 - The Town Manager presents a proposed budget to a joint meeting of the Board of Selectmen and the Budget Committee,
March 27, 29, and April 3 - Budget review meetings held jointly by the Board of Selectmen and Budget Committee,
May 22 - Public Hearing regarding the proposed FY 2013 budget and other matters,
June 12 - Election Day and Town Meeting by referendum.
The budget calendar also notes that nomination papers for local elected officials will be available on March 19th and must be submitted by April 30th. To view the entire budget calendar, CLICK HERE.
The Waldoboro Board of Selectmen have approved the budget to be approved by the voters at the June 12, 2012 referendum Town Meeting. CLICK HERE to view it.
