Waldoboro EMS was founded in 1969 to provide emergency care and transport to the residents of Waldoboro. Since then, we have grown to a Paramedic level service that serves the heart of mid-coast Maine for both emergency and transfer needs. Our call volume continues to grow, with 2005 generating 1,247 calls.
Our current roster has 10 EMT's, 4 Intermediates, and 6 Paramedics. We are always looking for more staff to help us serve our community.
We offer community CPR courses and also provide speakers if you have any civic group that would like a presentation.
FEMA now has online training for NIMS (National Incident Management System) and ICS (Incident Command System). Follow the link and get yours today.
